Fetch Wisconsin Rescue is dedicated to the rescue & rehabilitation of unwanted, neglected, and abused dogs found in shelters across the Midwest, as well as dogs surrendered by local owners unable to care for them. We spend time getting to know each dog to make the best possible match for their forever home. Fetch is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) and since April 2013, we have rescued more than 3,500 dogs. We strive to help our dogs become confident, balanced dogs and for our volunteers to be confident, assertive pack leaders. From home visits to web design, our volunteers bring their skills, expertise and passion to support Fetch.
“We got Alpha from Fetch. It took a little longer than a breeder because you can't just go there and get a dog. So first we had to apply. They also did a home visit, but we did it on zoom. We gave a tour of our house and yard and showed all of us and Snowball. We got to see the dogs on the website. They have pictures and stories that tell you about the dogs and if they are good with other dogs or kids. There were a lot of dogs we liked!! We just email if we wanted to meet a dog, and we liked Alpha so she was the first one we met. They REALLY wanted to make sure it was the right dog. After Snowball met Alpha we decided to adopt her. She is so cute, sweet, cuddly and smart. She listens better than Snowball! I got to name her. I picked Alpha; no one liked it at first but it fits her because she can get attention-jealous and is protective!” - Zara
